TIG Welder/Fabricator

Currently hiring a Tig Welder in the Frankfort, IL area. Hiring immediately.

Pay: $26-$30/HR

Shift: 1st shift (7A-3:30P)

Description:

• Ability to produce food grade welds on 304 stainless steel assemblies.

• Able to weld a variety of material thicknesses, ranging from 16g up to ½” thick.

• Able to work from prints and weld parts per symbols as noted.

• Accurately layout and fixture small and larger multipart weld assemblies.

• Check and straighten all weld assemblies using straight edges and squares to maintain square and flatness.

• Measure parts and assemblies using calipers, rigid rules, micrometers, and tape measures accurately.

• Set up and operate CNC Press brakes is a plus.

• Load programs onto machines and make angle corrections as needed.

• Experience with Accurpress or Safan brakes is a plus.

• Position requires a high degree of flexibility to quickly shift tasks as priorities demand.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• TIG Welding stainless steel

• Experience doing layouts and working with blueprints

• CNC Brake press experience

• Proficient on a computer
