PURPOSE OF JOB:
The Director of Operations Finance - Reference Lab will play a critical role in supporting our laboratory operations function. This senior-level position is responsible for leading financial planning, analysis, and reporting that drive operational efficiency and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in financial management within a laboratory operations context and demonstrate exceptional leadership and strategic thinking skills.
This is a Hybrid role based that can be based out of our hubs in New York City, NY, Fountain Valley, CA or Loveland, CO hub locations. The Target Pay Range for this position is $124K - $170K annually. At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.

Strategic Financial Leadership:
Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company’s laboratory operations goals.
Partner with senior leadership to drive financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
Provide insights and recommendations to optimize resource allocation and investment.
Operational Financial Management:
Oversee the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) functions related to the stated area.
Monitor and analyze key financial metrics, including cost structures, capital expenditures, and project specific financials.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including variance analysis and operational performance reviews.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for laboratory operations, ensuring alignment with overall company strategy.
Develop detailed financial models to support decision-making and assess the financial impact of operational changes and new product development.
Partner with Laboratory Operations Leadership to develop and track specific project budgets and resource allocations.
Cost Management and Optimization:
Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
Conduct cost-benefit analyses for new projects, processes, and technologies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with operations, manufacturing, engineering, and R&D teams to support financial and strategic objectives.
Facilitate communication between finance and other departments to ensure alignment and address financial implications of operational decisions.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect company assets and financial health.
Leadership and Team Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of finance professionals.
Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or related field
Master’s degree or CPA a plus
10 years’ experience in Finance or Accounting, with a minimum of 3 years in business partnership finance
Working technical knowledge of laboratory operations
Computer literacy and proficient with MS office applications
