AMERICAN AIRLINES INC Team Lead, Revenue Management (Ref. 2206) in Fort Worth, Texas

American Airlines, Inc. has openings for an Team Lead, Revenue Management to perform the following duties: Responsible for empowering and leading team members to make informed decisions that impact American Airlines revenue; Support a team responsible for maximizing passenger revenue across AAs robust commercial airline network; Utilize analytical models and tools to forecast changes to the competitive environment and passenger demand; Maximize revenue by developing and implementing inter-departmental strategies through quantitative analysis of historical passenger demand, the competitive environment, and consumer buying behavior; Utilize statistical analysis, simulations, predictive modeling, or other analytical methods to analyze data and develop practical solutions to business problems; Analyze passenger demand across fare products and optimize inventory for each portion of the network; Drive a competitive advantage that translates into actionable items and assists analysts with problem- solving; Perform competitive analysis to determine optimal pricing across the network and create new fare products to capitalize on changes in consumer buying habits; Leverage a variety of reports and analyze changes in the competitive landscape to identify high-level trends and strategies to make evidence-based decisions and drive revenue growth; Present original analysis and strategies to senior leadership, design departmental business processes, analyze the effects of fare and inventory changes on market performance, and work on ad hoc projects related to AAs strategic goals; Engage with business counterparts both internal and external to develop a relationship with partner teams including Network Planning, Marketing, IT, and Sales and Alliances to identify opportunities to improve revenue performance.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, or related field, plus 2 years of experience as Analyst or any occupation in which the required experience was gained, and demonstrated experience in: Business Analytics; SQL Programming Language; Revenue Management; Python Programming Language; Senior Management Presentation; Statistical analysis; Pricing Strategy; Demand Analysis; Performance Reporting; Competitive advantage analysis; Revenue Passenger Forecasting; Analytical simulation; Business Modeling and simulation; Trend Analysis; Airline industry experience. #LI-DNI

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week/8 a.m.-5 p.m./M-F. Job Location: Fort Worth, TX
