Lockheed Martin Systems Engineer Manager - level 5 in Fort Worth, Texas

Description: We are Lockheed Martin

You will be the Systems Engineer Manager for the F-35 Projects team in the Simulation and System Test Organization. That team consists of three major areas: Reprograming Labs, System Integration Labs, and System Integration and Test.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Systems Engineer you will be responsible for all F35 SIL and Reprograming labs modifications and readiness, as well as, Reprograming labs development and modifications and maintenance of all F35 labs within SST.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating and executing F-35 Projects strategy by forecasting capital needs and requesting program funding.

• Oversee daily operations of all F-35 Project venues and reports status to F-35 Program, Executive Leadership, SST Senior Management, and Government Customers.

• Directing the cost and schedule activities as F-35 OBS Manager.

• Overseeing Cost Account Managers (CAM).

• Lead monthly Cost Performance Reviews

(CPR) with CAMs and presents status to

Senior Leadership.

• Oversee performance assessment, work assignments, salary planning, recognition, disciplinary actions, career development, and succession planning.

This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.

You will need to be a US Citizen, and currently possess and be able to maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Basic Qualifications:

• Project Management experience

• Leadership experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other STEM discipline.

Desired Skills:

• F-35 Program clearances.

• Experience with F-35 System Integration Labs or Reprograming Labs

• Familiarity with F-35 Mission Systems as well as familiarity with general avionics architectures and functionality.

• Proven experience as a strategic thinker with the ability to translate into action and results.

System Engineering, System Integration, or System Verification/Validation leadership experience

• Demonstrated communication skills, written and oral with senior level management and customers.

• Ability to obtain SAP/SAR Clearances

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
