Hybrid opportunity - 2 days from home - Pay is from $85K to $110K base

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Tax Sr. - Corporate in the Manufacturing industry, located in Fort Worth, Texas. This role involves providing support on sales and use tax, income tax, and working with third party compliance providers. It requires skills such as Ad Hoc Reporting, Compliance, Corporate Income Tax, and Corporate Tax Compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support on sales and use tax, including maintenance, configuration, troubleshooting, and enhancement for sales and purchases

• Assist with tax certificate review and setup

• Analyze, research, and resolve tax treatment of various transactions or items

• Assist with income tax provision including positions, calculations, and transfer pricing studies

• Conduct tax research and planning

• Support third party compliance providers by providing necessary documentation for tax compliance

• Respond to tax notices and process tax payments

• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications

• Maintain customer credit records accurately and efficiently

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years experience in a similar role (sales and use tax)

• Proficient in Ad Hoc Reporting

• Demonstrated knowledge of Compliance procedures

• Experience with Corporate Income Tax and Corporate Tax Compliance

• Familiarity with Vertex software, preferred. CCH Sales Tax software would be acceptable.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field preferred

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word

• High ethical standards and professionalism, as this role involves dealing with confidential and sensitive information

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
