Robert Half Sr. Network Engineer in Fort Worth, Texas

Description We are in search of a Sr. Network Engineer based in Fort Worth, Texas, 76155. This role falls within the IT industry and offers a short term contract employment opportunity. You will be part of a team that manages and deploys Network infrastructure. Your primary responsibility will be to provide expert level support in network engineering and administration.

Responsibilities:

• Design and engineer network device configuration scripts, ensuring alignment with project goals and deadlines.

• Implement network changes during suitable change windows.

• Review and provide constructive feedback on change documentation/engineering produced by other engineers.

• Establish processes to test applications and devices before planned network deployment to ensure optimal performance.

• Provide second-tier support for the network operations team as necessary.

• Participate in on-call support escalation rotation.

• Translate business needs into actionable deliverables.

• Manage small to medium internal data network projects.

• Create detailed network designs that meet customer requirements, including physical and logical designs of complex network systems.

• Serve as a technical resource providing guidance and advice on data voice and mobile network capabilities. Requirements • Must possess strong skills in customer service and communication

• Proven experience in management and sales

• Ability to create and review technical documentation

• Proficient in design and supervising tasks

• Comfortable with giving presentations and working with vendors

• Experience in troubleshooting network issues

• Deep understanding of networks and networking protocols

• Capable of acting as a liaison between various teams and stakeholders

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences, or relevant field is preferred

• Ability to answer technical queries and implement upgrades as necessary

• Familiar with specification and configuration management

• Proficiency in Windows OS and knowledge of various IT frameworks

• Capable of producing deliverables on time
