Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Department - Full-Time 11a-11p Shift for Texas Health Alliance

Work location: Texas Health Alliance -10864 Texas Health Trail, Fort Worth, TX 76244

Work hours: Full-Time - Day Shift - 11a - 11p - 36 Hours/ Week - 3/12 hour shifts a week

ED highlights:

Here’s What You Need

  • Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred

  • CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency (required)

  • RN - Current Registered Nurse required Upon Hire

  • BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required

  • ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of hire

  • CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days of hire

  • ENPC – Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course within 6 months of hire required

  • TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course within 6 months of hire required

  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days of hire

  • 1-year of Experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required.

  • 2-3 years ER experience preferred.

What You Will Do

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process

  • Assesses the patient

  • Plans the care of the patient

  • Intervenes as appropriate

  • Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions

  • Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.

  • Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information

  • Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
