Job Title: Quality Manager

Job Description

The Quality Manager will work closely with production and supply chain teams to implement effective quality control practices and resolve any quality-related issues regarding durability, safety, and performance for our customers. The candidate will drive the implementation of ISO Quality System, train production workers, be responsible for documenting and audits, and implement SOPs.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and drive the ISO Quality System.

  • Train production workers on quality control practices.

  • Document and conduct audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.

  • Implement and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Collaborate with production and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related issues.

  • Ensure product durability, safety, and performance meet customer expectations.

  • Manage and develop the quality control team.

  • Analyze quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

  • Maintain a strong focus on continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing (consumer products)

  • Experience in training production workers

  • Proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project)

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in quality management, engineering, manufacturing, or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years prior experience in a Quality Management role within a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong background in quality assurance, quality control, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Working knowledge of MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Project).

  • Experience in quality management systems in an ISO certified environment.

  • ISO 9000 certification and/or Lean process improvement certification preferred.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in root cause analysis and corrective action processes.

  • Proven track record of delivering results against objectives and ability to successfully manage multiple priorities.

  • Collaborative working style and thrives in a cross-functional team environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to create, set, and achieve strategic objectives that align with the organization.

  • Ability to travel if required to suppliers/customers.
