Lockheed Martin Project Engineer Staff (Level 4) in Fort Worth, Texas

Description: We are Lockheed Martin

You will be the Project Engineer on the IFG Engineering team. The operations team works to align engineering teams to execute the goals and priorities of the IFG Line of Business, Program Office, and functions to deliver agile and affordable solutions that meet or exceed customer requirements.

In addition to supporting the IFG Engineering Business Rhythm, this role will lead IFG Workforce Management. The selected candidate will lead the overall IFG workforce planning effort to develop and maintain an overall staffing forecast and representation in the Workforce Planning Dashboard and Vemo.

This position will also include management of the IFG Engineering Operations project folder on Tableau Server, to include creation of new and editing of current published dashboards. Data analysis of E&T Program Performance, Metrics, and RTG Plan Delivery will be required as needed.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Project Engineer your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinate with Program Management, Business Management and Finance to ensure alignment on staffing demand

• Lead tri-annual staffing demand updates

• Coordinate with Line of Business Segment and Functional leaders to ensure demand properly captures TINA compliant estimates or F&BO Budget

• Oversee Vemo Demand Planning cycles for the IFG team and provide technical support to Functional Engineering Leaders

• Present IFG status report as required during E&T Workforce Priorities Meeting

• Perform ad hoc data analysis of E&T headcount demand, charging trends, budget, etc. as requested

• Provide data visualizations via Tableau or other visual delivery methods to satisfy requests up to and including VP level

• Other data visualization as necessary

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors in a Engineering discipline or Technical degree

• Experience working across multiple teams and organizations

• Experience working with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Experience interpreting data of various types (technical, process, financial) and creating presentations that summarize the data in a clear and concise manner

• Experience with data visualization products (Tableau, Power BI, Grafana, etc.)

Desired Skills:

• Ability to work effectively in a high profile schedule driven environment

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Organized with the ability to effectively prioritize time

• Experience as a CAM and experience with LM Aero CAM tools

• Previous project engineering experience

• Experience collecting and compiling datasets from disparate data sources into the required data structure for consumption

• Knowledge or basic application ability of data prep tools such as Tableau Prep and/or Alteryx

• Experience with staffing plan creation and maintenance

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
