As a Multi-Functional Manufacturing Supervisor, you will play a crucial leadership role in driving production efficiency and workforce management in the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Wing Systems Production area. Your responsibilities will span across key operational areas, focusing on cost, schedule, and quality objectives. You will also be responsible for leading and motivating a team of mechanics, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and continuously improving manufacturing processes.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Leadership & Workforce Management : Lead and manage a represented workforce, assigning daily tasks to mechanics and overseeing their execution. Ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.

Production & Build Plan Execution : Oversee the execution of build plans for structural assembly and systems installations, ensuring that all operations meet production goals.

Quality & Continuous Improvement : Identify and implement initiatives that improve the quality, schedule, and cost of operations. Foster a culture focused on preventing Foreign Object Damage (FOD), improving process efficiency, and closing skill gaps within your team.

Compliance & Certification : Ensure employee certification for tasks requiring certification and drive compliance with Core processes and program-specific processes.

Safety & Environment : Provide a safe working environment, addressing unsafe conditions promptly and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Employee Engagement : Collaborate with Labor Relations and Human Resources to enhance team engagement, fostering a positive work environment that promotes talent development, technical competencies, and performance excellence.

In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of the JSF Wing Systems Production team by driving operational success and building a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with professional manufacturing/productions methodologies.

• Experience using tools, machines, &/or systems typically used in a production/manufacturing environment.

• Experience with business metrics to drive performance (cost, schedule, quality).

• Experience with Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Word, Excel).

Desired Skills:

• Working knowledge of Manufacturing Systems including, PDM, MRP, SFM, and EWI.

• Previous development experience.

•Project Management Experience

Working Knowledge of Crew Plans

• Forecasting manpower.

• Excellent communication skills.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
