Lead Assembly Technician

Company Description: We are a Defense/Aerospace parts manufacturing and processing facility. Our specialties include the production of sheet metal and machined parts, value-added kits for our customers, and assemblies. We are accredited by Nadcap for Chemical Processing, Aluminum Heat Treating, Prime and Topcoat Painting, and Resistance and Fusion Welding.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Lead Assembly Technician to join our team. A successful candidate will be responsible for assembling aviation industry components,

including nutplates, mechanical fasteners, bushing installations, and countersinking. The role requires proficiency with hand and power tools, riveting guns, and blueprints. The Lead Assembly Technician will lead a team of 5 assemblers, ensuring production schedules are met and quality standards are maintained.

Fort Worth Tx, 76140

Job Duties:

· Assembling aviation components using various tools and blueprints.

· Leading a team of 5 assemblers to ensure timely and quality production.

· Conducting inventory on assembled parts.

· Implement process improvement processes to ensure maximum efficiency

· Maintaining inventory for bulk orders.

· Communicate with management

· Documentation of inventory, defects and other needed documentation

Shift and Pay:

· 1st Shift: 6:00AM-4:00PM

· Monday-Thursday (Friday OT as needed-usually 6AM-12PM)

· $25-$35/hr (Depending on experience)

· (Must be okay working OT when required)

Position Requirements:

· Assembly lead experience (3+ years)

· Basic hand/power tools experience

· Blueprint/schematics experience

· Mechanical aptitude

· Mechanical assembly experience (Preferably in the aviation industry)

· MUST HAVE STEEL TOES

Performance Expectations:

· Fast-paced, proactive, and able to learn quickly.

· Ability to maintain high quality with expediated assemblies

· Strong leadership skills to effectively manage a team.
