Lockheed Martin Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) in Fort Worth, Texas

The selected candidate will join the LMA Classified Cybersecurity Team as an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) on-site at Fort Worth, Texas. As an ISSM supporting Special Access Programs (SAPs), you will ensure classified information systems meet cybersecurity requirements and government directives. You will leverage your technical skills to:

• Interpret the Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG) in determining technical Information Assurance (IA) requirements, conduct cyber risk assessment activities including vulnerability analysis, analysis of mitigation solutions, and ensure proper security implementation of Risk Management Framework (RMF).

• Develop system documentation for information system authorization, security management, and continuous monitoring (CONMON) of both networked and standalone information systems (e.g., Authorization To Operate (ATO), System Security Plan (SSP), Plans of Actions and Milestones (POAM), etc.).

• Develop and/or consult on technical solutions to complex problems which require extensive technical expertise and ingenuity.

• Collaborate with program security, management, senior level internal (i.e. Program Managers) and external (i.e. government Security Control Assessors (SCAs)) stakeholders, as well as others to identify requirements and provide problem resolution i.e. balancing customer demands with security compliance.

• Ensure that selected security controls are implemented and operating as intended during all phases of the information systems lifecycle.

• Provide security monitoring for the infrastructure in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD) requirements by utilizing cybersecurity tools (e.g. vulnerability scanners, Security Information and Even Management (SIEMs), etc.)

• Perform system auditing, vulnerability risk assessments, assured file transfers, hardware/software configuration management, data integrity containments, media management, and investigations on information assurance related security violations/incidents.

• Provide cybersecurity education and training for all system users on appropriate risk mitigation strategies.

• Guide and mentor junior cyber professionals.

• Perform other associated duties as required.

Basic Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship.

• Active Top Secret (TS) Clearance with an investigation or Continuous Vetting (CV) date within 5 years.

• Prior experience as an ISSM/ISSO.

• Possess a DoD 8570/8140 IAM Level III certification (i.e. CISSP, CISM, etc.).

Desired Skills:

• Prior experience supporting Special Access Programs (SAP) security environments.

• Prior Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) experience.

• Experience providing technical security expertise and oversight for complex classified networked environments in collaboration with customers, Information Technology (IT) Department, and other functional support departments.

• Ability to juggle the demands of multiple diverse customers while formulating & driving security direction.

• Ability to work in a team environment, demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities, be well organized, flexible, and self-motivated.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
