Actalent Electrical Project Manager in Fort Worth, Texas

Job Title: Electrical Project ManagerJob Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee multiple contracts, budgets, procurement matrices, schedules, and project planning and execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical construction, particularly in commercial and industrial large construction projects. This role involves coordinating quality assurance, interpreting plans and specifications, resolving conflicts, and leading project meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Own single or multiple contracts, budgets, procurement matrices, schedules, project planning, and execution.

  • Review and monitor project costs versus budgets for multiple projects and/or program level contracts ($25M+ single or cumulative).

  • Coordinate quality assurance and quality control for the project with the Quality Manager.

  • Ensure work is consistent with plans, specifications, drawings, and documents related to engineering and integration scope.

  • Resolve inter-group conflicts, project conflicts, and delays to meet project goals and milestones.

  • Coordinate with internal and external procurement/purchasing teams to ensure requested materials are expedited and received as needed for project integration.

  • Serve as an interface between the IM Engineering team and internal clients, including Production, Quality, Logistics, and Safety teams, to facilitate interdepartmental relations and project goals.

  • Assist with the development of new electrical engineering standards and maintain and improve existing standards and guidelines, implementing industry and company best practices.

  • Lead project/program meetings and conference calls; participate in engineering, design, and constructability review processes.

  • Lead or assist with investigations, including root cause analysis as needed.

  • Submit Requests for Information (RFIs) to the construction project management team.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 5 or more years of progressively responsible experience in the electrical construction industry, with a concentration in commercial and industrial large construction projects.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.

  • Prior knowledge and understanding of the estimating process.

  • Ability to understand, evaluate, and build complex project schedules utilizing MS Project.

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills and familiarity with MS Teams and SharePoint.

  • Strong verbal, written, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong customer service skills required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Exposure to ACCUBID and/or CONEST is a plus.

Work Environment

This role involves working in an office setting with occasional site visits. The work environment includes the use of various technologies and equipment, with a typical work schedule from Monday to Friday. Dress code is business casual.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
