We are looking for EHS technician for 2nd shift.

This position reports to the EHS Manager in our new and growing Fort Worth, TX facility, and supports cross-functional teams and EHS committees to improve site EHS performance and compliance.

You’ll make an impact by:

• Advocate for a Zero Harm safety culture that protects the safety of Siemens’ employees, subcontractors, and customers.

• Execute and supervise implemented EHS programs and standard methodologies to ensure compliance with external and internal requirements as well as supporting inspections/audits.

• Participate and assist in audit activities including performing inspections on the operations, support and administrative areas to ensure all the EHS requirements are met.

• Evaluate and approve work at heights, hot work, electrical work, confined spaces work, cranes, etc.

• Support emergency preparedness and response activities; EHS incident investigations, including tracking and record-keeping requirements.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 2+ years of successful experience in an Assembly/Manufacturing or related field in an EHS role.

• Ability to build collaborative relationships and work optimally with all levels of the organization.

• Well organized and efficient task execution.

• Validated understanding of EPA and OSHA regulations and industry EHS standards.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical diploma or equivalent.

• Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 (diploma required) and working knowledge of OSHA, EPA and local regulations and reporting.

• Strong writing capabilities, especially with writing clear, concise EHS procedures.

• Certified Safety Specialist (CSP) certification, Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Hazardous Material Manager (CHMM) certification.

• Proficient computer skills including Outlook and MS Office (e.g. Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

• The pay range for this position is $61,900 - $83,500. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.,
