    JOB DESCRIPTION

    The Corporate Fleet Manager’s position is primarily designed to enhance customer satisfaction, profitability of the leasing division, shop operations and fleet management. The Corporate Fleet Manager is responsible for coaching, inspiring, directing, mentoring and developing technicians and administrative support team members in each Leasing location throughout Bruckner Leasing.

    BASIC RESPONSIBILITES

    Including but not limited to the following: • Manage and improve maintenance expenses for the lease and rental fleets throughout the Bruckner Leasing organization. This includes but is not limited to monitoring maintenance expenses through unit profitability and operating statements, then both taking and recommending steps for improvement. • Manage and improve the shop profitability results for Fort Worth, Irving, Oklahoma City and any other locations added where Bruckner Leasing is responsible for a shop operating statement. This includes but is not limited to controlling absorption rates, mechanic efficiency rates, overtime costs and other shop related costs. • Manage PM accuracy to ensure PM on-time compliance of 95%. • Manage maintenance in order to monitor and contain sub vehicle expenses. • Manage and control timeliness of repairs in all shop locations, including Bruckner Truck Sales and outside vendors. • Identify potential bill backs while reviewing work orders/invoices and communicate appropriately. • Ownership of after-hours breakdown management, timely advising to customers. • Provide the leadership role for the justification of, then the recruitment, hiring, training, and development of Service personnel. • Periodically visits primary customers to monitor customer relations for the purpose of evaluating their service needs, problems, and satisfaction with performance. • Must help to insure safe working conditions for all employees. • Directs the department’s implementation and execution of all department appropriate policies, procedures and practices. • Recommends service strategies to corporate management for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses. • To be involved in the establishment and responsibility for the achievement of your team’s performance objectives, which include: o PM Compliance o Parts Inventory Control – able to create and oversee o Service – Revenue, New Accounts, Growth and Retention of Existing business. • Constant Communication with and Coordinates efforts with Bruckner Truck Sales and BLC Sales, Sales Operations, Accounting and Executive Management to achieve full market penetration. • Assist in identifying rental and lease units that need to be sold out of the fleet or that are underutilized. • Perform performance reviews with each technician and administrative support member.

    OTHER DUTIES

    The Corporate Fleet Manager’s performance is measured on the following criteria.

  • Recruit, Lead and Develop a high caliber service force in all locations.

  • Responsible for obtaining profitable results through developing the team through motivation, counselling, performance reviews, skills development and product knowledge development.

  • Manage the service administration function, operational performance reporting, streamlining processes and systems wherever possible, and advising senior management on maximizing business relationships and customer service.

  • Achieves a high degree of customer satisfaction and retention.

  • Provide high standards of ongoing training for the service team so that they possess sufficient industry knowledge to present information on the company’s products in an accurate and balanced manner.

  • Achievement of shop profitability results per the goals set forth semi-annually by Bruckner Leasing Management.

  • Active participation and reduction to outside maintenance (vendor) expenses.

  • Monitors and takes corrective action when units are held in shops for repairs beyond an acceptable repair window.

  • Brings solutions and recommendations to the discussion when necessary

  • Partners with and works well with all departments in the Dealerships.

  • Effective use of all tools available in the Enrich system.

  • Brings solutions and recommendations for problem issues

  • Protects and enhances the business reputation of Bruckner's

  • Enhances personal qualifications.

  • Accepts responsibility, is reliable and dependable

  • Must maintain a sense of urgency in matters that demand it.

  • The ability to supervise, strong negotiating skills and critical thinking.
