Position Summary

This position is responsible to meet the goals and objectives of the organization by maintaining a perpetual inventory of material, equipment, supplies, and other general stock items.

Essential Duties and Tasks

· Record purchases, maintain database, perform physical count of inventory, and reconcile actual stock count to records, or computes figures from records, such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory levels.

· Verify clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjust errors in computation or count. Investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies.

· Prepare reports, such as inventory balance, price lists, and shortages.

· Collaborates with vendors and purchasing.

· May perform other routine duties, including data entry, answering telephones, and assist customers.

· All other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Education and Experience

· Must be able to perform complex mathematical calculations, read and interpret reports, receiving, shipping documents

· 2-4 years of relevant experience

· Performs work under general supervision.

· Handles moderately complex issues and possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.

· May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.

· Solid working knowledge of related manufacturing processes.

· Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Teams, and Outlook.

· Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.

· Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.

· Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.

· Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.

· Self-confident, self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

Work primarily in a climate controlled indoor environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Hearing protection, safety shoes and vision protection as required.

This role operates in a professional office environment that requires some exposure to a manufacturing environment. Employee is rarely exposed to non-toxic/nuisance smells from chemicals, airborne dust, moving mechanical parts, high noise levels and hot/humid environmental conditions in the manufacturing area.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
