Lockheed Martin Applications Engineering Associate Manager - Level 4 in Fort Worth, Texas

Description: We're seeking a highly skilled Applications Engineering Associate Manager to spearhead critical functions within the Operations Strategy & Technology organization. In this pivotal role, you'll oversee funding capture, streamline work processes, and manage all aspects of business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

-Strategically plan and execute internal funding capture initiatives to ensure financial stability and growth.

-Develop and implement standardized work processes to enhance efficiency and drive continuous improvement.

-Provide insightful metrics and analysis to support decision-making and optimize performance.

-Foster a collaborative team environment, building strong relationships and motivating teams to deliver exceptional results.

-Manage NBF/Capital/Overhead funding capture, procurement processes, staffing forecasting, and metric development to ensure project success within budget and timeline constraints.

-Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders, industry peers, and customers, effectively communicating project progress and addressing operational challenges.

-Provide expertise in manufacturing processes, sustainment procedures, and procurement practices to advise other departments and external clients.

-Demonstrate hands-on leadership in daily operations, especially during high-volume, fast-paced scenarios, to meet critical deadlines and resolve complex issues.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree from accredited college

- Experience Leading others and creating a team environment

- Experience with Earned Value Management or Business & Technical Operations

Desired Skills:

- Knowledge of industry best practices for a broad range of manufacturing techniques.

- Experience with strategy development and request execution of internal funding such as Irad, New Business Funds, Overhead and Capital.

- Sound understanding of business and financial analysis.

- Experience with and/or established working relationships dealing with LM internal and external customers.

- Knowledge of SAP NPR Creation, tracking and procurement documentation requirements, processes and procedures

- Proven effective oral and written communication skills, with an ability to deliver effective presentations

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
