Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate Planning and Control of customer orders, schedules and forecasts.

  • Manage planning in support of Engineering Changes, Field Support Requirements, Project /Program launch and run out with minimal business impact

  • Produce accurate and concise data / reports

  • Assure inventory and service goals are met and drive the result of zero customer disappointments

  • Review inventory parameters and implement strategies for materials to optimize levels to exceed KPI objectives

  • Responsible for data accuracy and maintenance of planning parameters within MRP system

  • Work closely with Buyers and the Supply Chain team to maintain efficiency within the department

  • Use Delivery Failure Reports to find root causes of delivery failures and improve supplier performance

  • Generate and distribute weekly reports to measure and track Key Performance Indicators

  • Undertake a variety of other activities, that are within a Material Planner’s capabilities as instructed by your manager

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

  • 5 yrs of demand management, inventory management, material planning, procurement

  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems (SAP, MFGPro, etc), ideally Oracle

  • Experience analyzing data (Excel, PowerBI, Tableau) and building models to create scenarios, draw conclusions and provide recommendations

  • Demonstrated aptitude for communication and collaboration across multiple process partners and customers

  • Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement or related fields

Desired Skills:

  • Masters Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement or related fields

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

  • Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.

  • Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.

  • Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.

  • Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.

  • Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PM

  • Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
