Robert Half Accounts Receivable Specialist in Fort Worth, Texas

Description

We are immediately hiring a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Fort Worth, Texas. The is full-duty accounts receivable invoice processing which includes coding, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices for multiple business units and types of revenue; Daily cash posting, journal entries, bank reconciliations, month end closing & reporting, including revenue & aging reports. This position could start as soon as this week!

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the coding, processing, verifying, and reconciling of invoices for multiple business units and types of revenue

• Conduct daily cash posting to keep track of all financial transactions

• Prepare and maintain records of journal entries

• Handle bank reconciliation activities to ensure all financial transactions are accounted for

• Participate in the month-end closing process and generate reports including revenue and aging reports

• Use Accounting Software Systems and Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Excel, for various accounting functions

• Oversee accounts receivable activities and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately

• Handle billing functions, ensuring all invoices are processed and sent out in a timely manner

• Perform invoice reconciliation to ensure all charges are correct

• Use your skills in Accounting Functions and Accounts Receivable (AR) to contribute to the team's objectives.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites including Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Accounting Functions and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Billing Functions and Invoice Processing

• Knowledge of Coding and Invoice Reconciliation

• Experience in Cash Posting and Journal Entries

• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations and Month End Close

• Experience in Revenue Reporting and Aging Reports

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

• Professional attitude and ability to maintain confidentiality.
