Marketing Program Specialist

About the Role:
This position is responsible for the day-to-day administration, education, and support of Do it Best Corp. Marketing Programs. The team member will act as a liaison between Do it Best, our members, and our vendors. The team member must be proactive in solving problems for members. The Marketing Program Specialist also coordinates the creation of marketing materials for direct or field staff distribution.
Responsibilities:
Promote marketing programs at all Do it Best Corp. Markets and elsewhere as necessary
Understand savings realized to members by switching to our programs
Travel to market (2x per year) to support members, promote programs, educate on relevant topics, and assist in completing enrollment in programs
Provide and/or help develop educational seminars for members on relevant topics
Attend training on programs to be the subject matter expert in the policies, procedures and related systems
Contribute to decisions about potential new programs/products
Work with Accounting to provide financial reporting and billing and assist in resolving issues for Do it Best and members, following all policies and procedures
Provide monthly and YTD volume and rebate reports to manager
Prepare mass billing on a tight schedule Handle member issues, provide appropriate solutions or alternatives within a short timeline, and follow up with members, vendors and colleagues to ensure resolution
Protect confidential information appropriately
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Sales and Marketing, Communications preferred, or equivalent work experience preferred
1-2 years of applicable, related experience in system support or marketing preferred
Skills and Abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to communicate with member-owners, vendors, staff, and upper management
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with precision and attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills
Strong customer service skills
Ability to work independently and adapt to change
Using a computer and sitting or standing for long periods of time
