Information Security Intern Location: Fort Wayne, IN Level: Intern Division / Department: Information Security Reporting to position: Information Security Officer Summer 2025 - 90 day internship

About the Role:

The Information Security Intern will work directly with the Information Security Team to complete both daily tasks and strategic initiatives. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on information technology experience and work closely with leaders in multiple divisions across the enterprise. Responsibilities include:

• Incident triage and management using cutting edge prevention and detection technologies

• Analyze network penetration results and formulate remediation plans

• Patch and vulnerability management of workstations and servers

• Assist with current security initiatives which will involve working with Applications Development, Infrastructure, Operations, and Support departments

Education and Experience:

• Pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity

• Enthusiastic and motivated, willing to accept a wide variety of challenges

Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent communication skills both written and oral

• Personable and positive attitude

• Problem solving and analytical skills

• Hard worker and team oriented
