Aston Carter Dispatcher in Fort Wayne, Indiana

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team in Fort Wayne, IN. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree and be willing to work a rotating schedule that includes on-call duties. As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the efficient dispatch of personnel and resources to ensure timely and effective service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and dispatch personnel and resources based on service requests and operational needs.

  • Monitor and track the status of dispatched personnel and resources to ensure timely completion of tasks.

  • Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues.

  • Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including logs, reports, and documentation.

  • Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, providing appropriate assistance and support.

  • Utilize dispatch software and systems to manage and track dispatch operations.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and operational efficiency.

  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree in technical field

  • Previous experience in dispatching or a related role is preferred.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Ability to work a rotating schedule, including on-call shifts.

  • Proficiency in using dispatch software and systems.

  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
