Job Title: Admissions Events Coordinator (36002)

Join Purdue University Fort Wayne (PFW):

We are currently seeking a full-time onsite Admissions Events Coordinator (36002) in the Enrollment Management and Student Experience department.

The Admissions Events Coordinator is a key member of the admissions team, responsible for planning and coordinating the universitys daily campus visit program, Don Days, as well as larger campus visit events, such as Spring Campus Visit Day, Fall Campus Visit Day, and Admitted Student Day. The pay for this position is $41,600.00.

Primary Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate all aspects of the daily admissions visit program, Don Days, ensuring a welcoming and informative experience for prospective students and families.

Coordinate the planning and execution of large-scale campus visit events, including but not limited to Spring Campus Visit Day, Fall Campus Visit Day, and Admitted Student Day.

Manage event logistics, including venue selection, set-up, registration processes, technology needs, and catering.

Develop and maintain event schedules, ensuring all activities run smoothly and on time.

Coordinate day-of event operations, providing on-site coordination and ensuring an exceptional visitor experience.

Collaborate with office staff and student ambassadors to staff events and ensure all roles are clearly defined and effectively executed.

Serve as the primary point of contact for event attendees, addressing questions, concerns, or last-minute needs.

Collect and analyze event data, including attendance, feedback surveys, and other metrics, to evaluate the success of events and identify areas for improvement.

Provide actionable insights to enhance event programming and the overall visitor experience.

Research and recommend new opportunities and innovative approaches to campus visits and admissions events.

Partner with admissions leadership, office staff, and the student ambassador program to ensure events align with institutional goals and recruitment strategies.

Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate event logistics and ensure alignment with university branding and messaging.

Develop and maintain a detailed event calendar, keeping all team members informed of upcoming events and deadlines.

Required Qualifications:

A Bachelors degree. Degree completed by May 2025 will be considered.
