Electronic Test Technician

Job Description

Troubleshoots production failures down to the component level. Perform automated testing and performance testing using a variety of automated testing equipment and special test console to simulate in-service specifications, including but not limited to: vibe, burn in, thermal cycle and flying probe & ICT.

Shift and Pay

6 am -3:30 pm M-F

9/80 schedule (off every other Friday)

$24-33/hr based on experience

Responsibilities

• Test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify production of electronic or mechanical products, parts, equipment, and systems.

• Apply principles and theories of electronics and electrical circuitry.

• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematic drawings.

• Use manufacturing and engineering instructions for testing assembled electronic or mechanical units.

• Interpret and work in accordance with work orders, drawings, schematics, functional and acceptance test procedures, failure reports, manuals, and all other applicable engineering and production specifications.

• Maintain system logs and manuals to document testing and operation of equipment.

Qualifications.

• Proficiency with hand tools.

• 4+ test tool experience is required, troubleshooting down to the component level.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematic drawings.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $23.00/hr.
