Insight Global Electrical Superintendent in Fort Stewart, Georgia

Job Description

Our client is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to join their federal team based at Fort Stewart and the Hunter Army Airfield location near Savannah, GA and the highly desirable Georgia coastline (military experience encouraged, but not required) supporting their energy efficiency and sustainability needs, primarily related to HVAC, HVAC controls, BAS, metering, and utilities systems.

  Supervise the electrical field teams assigned projects in accordance with the plans and specifications

  Assist with quality control functions per contract (COE) requirements (submittal reviews, daily reports, preparatory meetings and other quality control program features) to ensure project document controls are in compliance with contract requirements

  Performs detailed estimating analysis to quantify cost savings or other cost benefits

   Survey buildings to create specifications and estimate materials needed

  Coordinate inspections, verifications, tests, and other contractual requirements with client

  Oversee all electrical workers (including subcontractors) on-site to ensure efficiency and accuracy of work

Create status reports and help present findings at stakeholder meetings

Skills and Requirements

Minimum of 10 years of experience (15-20 preferred)

   Power wiring, networks, and controls

  High level knowledge of national & local electric codes

  Supervisory experience

   Will be the go-to person for all electricians on-site

  Estimating experience

   Ability to view a building, create specifications, and select proper equipment

  Ability to be badged at a federal facility

   Clean background/record

  MS Excel proficiency

Data entry Military service background

  Experience in the HVAC/controls field

  Associate Degree in electronic or mechanical systems, or equivalent work experience

Journeyman or Masters electrical license null
