Army Installation Management Command Bartender Leader NL-05 in Fort Sill, Oklahoma

Summary The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is worldwide. This position is assigned to MWR, Community Recreation Division, and will be referred to the Patriot Club. The initial cut-off date for this vacancy announcement is 10/02/2024. Responsibilities Works under the supervision of the Beverage Manager who issues instructions on procedures, methods and deadlines, relies on incumbent to assure work assignments are carried out by other members of the bartending crew. Serves as a working leader of three or more employees in accomplishing bartender work. Ensures there is enough work to keep everyone in the work crew busy. Records sales, makes change or prepares charge slips in accordance with operating procedures. Assist customers by discussing beverages available, their content and mixing special drinks according to customer direction. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Candidates must meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcoholic, at the time of appointment. Be able to lift and carry weights up to 40 pounds. Possess math skills necessary to calculate bills and take inventory. Skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages is required. Must have the ability to monitor and direct the work of other bar staff. Work experience as a full service bartender. Education This position does not have an education requirement. FWS Allowances and Differentials This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position. All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
