Job Description
BAE Systems Combat Vehicles is seeking a Field Service Engineer Senior to provide Field Support on Recovery and or Artillery platforms on projects within the Field Service Department. Location of Position is at Ft. Stewart, Georgia.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Is proficient/capable at providing Field Service Support on the M88 and/or M109 Artillery Platforms. Understands technical data for operation, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and repair Recovery and Artillery Platforms. Able to interact positively with customers both internal and external. Ability to work as part of a team, and mentor Field Service Technicians as required. Competent in using computer based programs for data input, report generation, and information presentation. Ability to understand complex problems and provide sound recommendations for solutions. Ability to follow managerial direction, organize and prioritize work schedule on short term and long term basis. Able to follow all Company ethical, safety, and behavioral policies.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Proficient at Field Service Support work on Recovery and Artillery platforms. Is proficient at computer based programs required by the company to complete, reports, training, data collections and presentations. Has followed all Company Policies to include proper time accounting procedures. Must have an associate s degree and 10 years of experience on combat vehicle platforms or 15 20 years of experience working on Combat Vehicle platforms. . Ability to interact with internal and external customers in a positive manner, provide positive mentorship company and contractor Field Service Technicians. Is technically proficient and capable of understanding/handling of complex problems with equipment, personnel, and missions.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $77814 - $132283
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
