Army Installation Management Command Lead Recreation Assistant NF-02 in Fort Novosel, Alabama
Summary This position is located at the Arts & Crafts Facility. Responsibilities Circulate among patrons to assure service is satisfactory; receive and resolve customer complaints; provide information and general instructions on the use of equipment, facilitates and machinery. Assist patrons in use of the facility by checking out equipment, providing safety instructions, demonstrating new equipment, teaching classes, etc. Plan, conduct, publicize and arrange support for special events, social activities, tournaments and related functions. Leads the work of other employees. Passes on to other workers instructions received from the supervisor and starts work. Distributes and balances workload assuring that each employee has enough work to keep busy. Answers questions of other employees on procedures, policies, and directives. Provides leadership, guidance, and oversight in program operations. Provide on-the-job training to new employees. Performs other duties as assigned Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Minimum Qualification Requirements: Work experience, which involved dealing with general public Best Qualified Criteria: 1. At least six (6) months work experience working in an Arts & Crafts facility AND 2. At least six (6) months work experience with RecTrac or other Point of Sale register And 3. At least twelve (12) months Customer Service experience. Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications and best qualifying criteria will be referred to the selecting official first. PCS Costs Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized , based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest. Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials This is a pay-banded position. Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
