Job Description
AECOM’s Water Business Line is looking for a passionate and experienced Wastewater Treatment Project Manager to lead exciting municipal projects in Fort Myers, Florida. If you thrive in a collaborative environment and want to take your career to the next level, this is the opportunity for you!
Role and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lead impactful projects – Manage the design and development of municipal pumping stations, and wastewater treatment plants.
Drive project success – Oversee scope, schedule, and budget while ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Build client relationships – Identify new business opportunities and represent AECOM in client meetings and industry events.
Guide & mentor teams – Supervise technical professionals and junior staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.
Expand AECOM’s influence – Participate in contract negotiations, prepare technical reports, and contribute to marketing efforts within the region.
Be a thought leader – Stay engaged with industry trends and actively participate in professional societies.

Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Proven track record in municipal water/wastewater treatment design and project management
Demonstrated experience and knowledge in water conveyance, pumping systems and treatment processes
Demonstrated experience in managing teams, engaging clients and delivering successful projects.
Experience in business development with identifying new opportunities and expanding service capabilities
Professional Engineering (PE) license in Florida or ability to obtain reciprocity within six (6) months of hire.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years of Project Management Experience.
Experience and familiarity with the following programs: ArcGIS, AutoCAD, REVIT, MicroStation, SWMM, and/or Storm/Sewer/WaterCAD.
Experience working with local clients in Florida.
Candidates must have proven interpersonal skills, including client interaction, public speaking, and persuasive ability; strong project financial management along with ability to lead diverse, multi-disciplined teams.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $130,000.00 - $150,000.00.
