UniFirst First Aid + Safety is seeking a reliable and hardworking Machine Operator to join our family. As a Team Partner in the Production Department, you will be operating a wrap-ade machine to ensure production of quality product and meet product volume standards. When working with UniFirst First Aid + Safety we provide a variety of shifts. Our standard is a 5-day work week, enjoy two days off a week. We have an immediate opening and provide on the job training.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Perform assigned tasks and responsibilities in accordance with SOP (Statement of Purpose) requirements.

  • Ensure lot information is accurate.

  • Ensure MBR paperwork is completed daily.

  • Keep paperwork organized, accurate and completed on time.

  • Clean and maintain machine and suite.

  • Adjust machine settings, as needed, to ensure high quality product,

  • Transfer bulk to machine.

  • Perform periodic and scheduled quality checks.

  • Report machine issues, quality concerns, high spoilage and scrap rates to leadership.

  • Follow leadership directions and tasks assigned.

  • Provide support to production and the Quality Assurance Department, as needed.

  • Perform Pack off production up to set standards.

  • Perform other tasks assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

  • High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.

  • Communication skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to follow directions provided by leadership.

  • Knowledge of mechanics is a plus.

  • Strong verbal and written communication in English.

  • Ability to stand throughout an 8–10-hour shift.

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
