ManTech is looking for a highly motivated and qualified Training Manager IV

in Ft . Meade , MD .  

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• The Training Manager IV manages the TDL training program for a specifically assigned TDL. They review existing training programs and suggest enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning, and retention to meet the changing needs of the customer.

• They ensure that training materials and programs are current, accurate, and effective.

• They maintain knowledge of new methods and techniques for training and training requirements applicable to ICON and/or industry.

• They identify problems and opportunities that could improve training, such as operational changes or industry developments.

• They conduct or facilitate required and recommended training sessions as well as collaborate with vendors and third-party training providers to arrange employee registration for and participation in outside training programs.

• They ensure that training milestones and goals are met while adhering to an approved training budget that they prepare and implement.

• Lastly, they supervise and mentor subordinate project and ICON Innovation Collaborative (IIC) staff.

Basic qualifications :

• 7 years of relevant experience.

Preferred qualifications:

• Industry relevant certifications such as Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP),

• Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+) or Certified Online Learning Facilitator (COLF). Experience tracking, coordinating or providing training programs in a military environment.

Security clearance requirement:

• Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and/or maintain a polygraph.

Physical requirements:

• Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time

• Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
