CACI has an immediate need for a Senior Project Manager to join our mission critical team located in Fort Meade, MD.

What You’ll Get to Do:

As the selected candidate for this opportunity, you will, in part plan and organize management of a project, series of smaller projects or definable piece of a larger program for successful completion and performance consistent with contractual requirements, government regulations and program objectives

More About the Role:

  • Oversee and monitor project financial status and performance to maintain contract budget guidelines and schedules

  • Acquire follow-on business associated with established programs or supporting new business development by leading major proposal through subordinate project managers

  • Develop and execute strategic plans and objectives

  • Analyzes performance under contracts to ensure proper utilization of work force, materials, funds, facilities, and equipment

  • Monitor selected contracts to ensure contractual and company objectives are met and provide site assistance when necessary

  • §mplement project plans by directing and coordinating project functions in the performance of contracts/task orders assigned

  • Establish division policies, practices and revisions to existing policies and practices as required to meet company, contracts, and task order requirements

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and other practices set forth by upper management directives

  • Maintain customer contacts and visitations to ensure mature relationships

  • Provide leadership, objectives, incentives, and positive attitude to assigned staff that result in a quality project

  • Oversee project performance, schedule, quality, and operating costs

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in technical, engineering, or military discipline and 10 years of related project management experience

  • Knowledge of the functions and operations of major U. S. military commands

  • Complete understanding of contract cost and pricing principles that translates efforts into achievements especially in acquiring new and follow-on business

  • Excellent communication, effective leadership, and interpersonal skills

  • Knowledge of various computer programs (i.e., Power Point, Excel, Word, and Project)

  • Advanced leadership and decision-making skills to effectively lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment

  • US Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance is required, with ability to obtain a CI Poly for access to TDN2.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) desired

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$99,800 - $219,600
