Salud Family Health Centers Facility Maintenance Tech in Fort Lupton, Colorado

Under general supervision, performs a variety of work in the general maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities, and equipment

We offer: $23.64 to $27.19 per hour

General Maintenance and Repair of Buildings, Facilities, Equipment, and Grounds.

Performs a variety of duties in the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds at various facilities and sites including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, masonry, and painting; Repairs and treats structures such as floors, sinks, walls, and roofs; performs minor troubleshooting, repairs, adjustments, and replacement of locks on doors, cabinets, desks, closets; changes filters on heaters, ventilating and air conditioning units; services appliances, kitchen and emergency equipment; hooks up appliances; reports mechanical malfunction to the appropriate party for action; moves and assists in moving furniture and equipment at various facilities/sites; sets up and breaks down office equipment and furniture; exercises discretion in identifying projects that require services of a higher skilled craftsperson; assists in obtaining quotes and arranging for services of outside vendors as needed; annotates and updates work logs for specific site requirements; activates and deactivates building alarms and responds to alarm call during and after work hours; maintains clean, safe and orderly worksites and facilities.

Carpentry: Performs basic rough and finish carpentry work in conjunction. and repair of structures such as cabinets, countertops, walls, doors, window frames, office furniture, shelves, and roofs

Electrical: Performs basic electrical installation and repair work in wiring for switches, outlets, cords, power circuits, and appliances; repairs lighting systems; inspects electrical systems for unsafe conditions; works with onsite safety personnel to perform proof of performance testing of emergency lighting and fixtures

Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning: Basic understanding of common HVAC systems and operations. Install, maintain, and repair indoor air quality systems. Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems and performing warranty services

Plumbing/Painting: Identifies and performs basic repairs of plumbing leaks or breaks: open clogged lines and drains; replaces washers valve stems and other minor parts; maintains and monitors septic system; installs and maintains drinking fountains; applies and prepares various services for paint, enamel, lacquer, varnish, or stain; repairs wall coverings

Grounds Maintenance: Maintains grounds in a clean and orderly manner including window washing, removal of gum on walkways, weeding, replacing plants/trees, replacing broken sprinkler heads, adjusting automatic sprinkler time clocks and system pressure if necessary; trims tree branches that create hazardous situations

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED, required

Licensure: Valid Colorado Drivers license

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

ducation, Training, and Experience: Any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform duties and responsibilities as described including related work experience in one or more of the building trades
