Job Description

An employer is looking for a Palo Alto Firewall SME to sit at Fort Liberty. This person should be a seasoned, self-motivated, professional with hands-on networks and systems engineering, testing experience in tactical and enterprise networks, virtualized and cloud environments. The candidate should be knowledgeable and experienced in developing and implementing Palo Alto Firewall/Networking Security Solutions. In addition, they will interact with the customer point of contact to set objectives/goals based on Palo Alto Networks technologies and available technology roadmap for architecture and design discussions.

Compensation:

$65/hr to $72/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

Must have Active Secret Clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 8+ years of applicable combined education and experience; additional related years of experience is accepted in lieu of a degree.

Hold DoD-8570 IAT Level II baseline certification (Sec+ CE or equivalent)

6+ years of hands-on Palo Alto and Forescout Firewall experience in both engineering and Operations and maintenance roles.

Strong knowledge of Palo Alto networks like configurations, installation, troubleshooting and troubleshooting

Proficient understanding of the Cybersecurity Framework to identify, protect, detect, respond and recover within the Cyber Security Service Provider construct. Prior experienced with Enterprise and tactical networks,

Experience with XVIII Airborne Corps Mission and its mission Partners.

Experience with DISA and DoD Networks.

Expertise in Vendor Equipment

Expertise in Networking / Firewall based Cybersecurity technologies (5+ years) null
