Army Installation Management Command Recreation Assistant (Water Safety Instructor) NF-02 in Fort Liberty, North Carolina

Summary This announcement will be used to fill vacancies at multiple aquatics facilities on Fort Liberty, NC. Army NAF pay setting rules apply to this vacancy. Responsibilities Acts as water safety instructor; manages all swimming lessons and instructs when scheduled, at the assigned aquatics facility. Develops swim program according to students' ability and promotes students to higher level of swimming according to their skills. Instructs all levels of swimming and appropriate strokes; teach students from age groups of infant through adults. Introduces and instructs safety and survival skills to students, when appropriate to level of instruction. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: 1. Work experience related to the duties described above and 2. Possession of the following certificates: Water Safety Instructor Certification Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) First Aid Certification Highly Preferred Qualifications: 1. Possession of a Lifeguard certification In order to be considered highly preferred, your resume must show that you meet ALL of the minimum qualifications, and ALL of the highly preferred criteria.
