Work Schedule: Full-time, Day Shift
Compensation: $25.32 - $25.32 per hour

Skookum is seeking a dedicated and hard-working General Maintenance Worker with a positive attitude.
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
Assist skilled workers in performing various electrical, carpentry, plumbing, or masonry work.
Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of building, ground, and equipment.
Communicates and interacts directly with the customer and supervisors, informing the customer of unexpected or additional repairs and determining customer needs.
Responds to customer inquiries and complaints.
Ensures completed work meets quality control standards.
Assist trade technicians in diagnosing and suggesting solutions and repairs to customers and supervisors.
Communicates with scheduler to update status of repairs, estimate completion dates and additional material requirements.
Follows all Safety Procedures and Policies.
Maintain professionalism in both appearance and demeanor.
Assemble and secure furniture and equipment as required.
Must Maintain and wear PPE as required.
Additional general maintenance tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
6 months of general maintenance experience preferred.
Must be able to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods of time.
Must be able to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers in a professional manner.
Physical Requirements:
Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.
Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
Requirements:
A valid state drivers license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Skookums i surance.
Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access. A background check and E-Verify will be conducted for this position.
