We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Tax Preparer in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The role involves working in the financial services industry, where you will be tasked with providing assistance during the tax season. Our workplace promotes a business casual dress code and is well-equipped with CCH Access Tax software.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with business tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Handle personal tax returns, meticulously reviewing for potential deductions and allowances.

• Utilize CCH Axcess Tax and other accounting software systems for tax preparation and data entry tasks.

• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

• Monitor client accounts, taking necessary actions based on their status.

• Maintain up-to-date and precise records of customer credit information.

• Contribute to other accounting functions as needed, ensuring smooth operations during the tax season.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is necessary.

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is required.

• Knowledge of CCH ProSystem Fx is expected.

• Experience with CCH Sales Tax is needed.

• Proficiency in using Drake Tax Software is crucial.

• Understanding of basic and complex Accounting Functions is required.

• Knowledge about Allowances in tax preparation is necessary.

• Strong Customer Service skills are expected.

• Proficiency in Data Entry is required.

• Understanding of Deductibles in tax laws is crucial.
