Description We are offering a role for a Sr. Accountant in the telecom industry, located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The primary function of this role includes financials, audit readiness, reconciliations, and other responsibilities. This role provides an opportunity for short term contract employment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing financial statements and conducting financial audits.

• Ensure readiness for audits by maintaining and organizing necessary documentation.

• Perform ledger reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.

• Utilize advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

• Employ knowledge of MS Great Plains Solomon and MS Dynamics 365 Business Central for accounting operations.

• Leverage CPA skills to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

• Conduct month-end close processes in a timely and accurate manner.

• Address and resolve any inquiries related to financials, audits, and reconciliations.

• Monitor and update financial data and reports on a regular basis.

• Collaborate with the team to improve financial processes and procedures. Requirements • Candidate must possess at least 7 years of experience as an Accountant or a related role

• Proficiency in Ledger Reconciliations and Financial Audits is required

• Must have experience in Financial Statement Preparation and Month End Close

• Familiarity with MS Great Plains Solomon is essential

• Knowledge of MS Dynamics 365 Business Central is necessary

• Applicant should have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Possession of a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a must
