Our client, a global leader in their industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing & Logistics Specialist to join their team. This position plays a critical role in supporting operations by managing procurement, logistics, and supply chain processes to ensure seamless delivery and optimal cost management. Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Management: Place orders, verify confirmations, and track overdue shipments. Monitor and replenish inventory to ensure operational efficiency.
Logistics Coordination: Research and arrange cost-effective freight solutions. Handle customs clearances and address shipping inquiries. Review and approve freight invoices.
Quality Control & Compliance: Process customer returns and manage non-conformance issues with incoming products. Coordinate exchanges, repairs, and priority orders.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales, warehouse, and finance teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth workflows.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, logistics, or supply chain management.
Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
Strong proficiency in English (verbal and written).
Excellent organizational skills, able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and detail-oriented.
Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO9001) is a plus.
Aviation industry experience is a bonus but not required.
