Growing manufacturer is seeking a direct-hire Manufacturing Engineer. This position will be located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The Manufacturing Engineer will help develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching testing methods, and consulting with equipment vendors.

Salary is commensurate with experience ranging up to $75K, plus relocation, and other great benefits! All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

responsibilities:

• Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, research testing methods, and consult with equipment vendors

• Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout

• Identify opportunities for preventing waste and inefficiency during production

• Research and test design ideas to determine feasibility, utilizing lean manufacturing, and root-cause analysis to formulate and support innovation, corrective actions, and improvements

• Build prototypes, evaluate performance, identify issues, and make improvements
