We are seeking an experienced Manager, Social Media and Influencer Marketing to join our team. This is a hybrid position and will be based in our Fort Lauderdale office. In this role you’ll be responsible for driving social media strategies that align with our overall marketing objectives. You’ll plan, develop, and deliver content for our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, X) and use data and analytics to continuously improve social engagement. In addition, you’ll lead influencer marketing campaigns, sourcing influencers that extend our reach into new audiences, amplify our brand differentiators and drive engagement. You’ll work in close collaboration with many internal partners across the organization including, but not limited to, Public Relations & Guest Communications, Brand & Product Marketing and Paid Media.

Responsibilities

  • Implement our organic social media strategies, grow our social audiences, and drive engagement with the Princess brand.

  • Build out quarterly content calendar that aligns with core business priorities, monthly editorial calendar, and weekly calendar review.

  • Analyze engagement and performance metrics to inform strategic and editorial decisions.

  • Craft compelling content that resonates with existing audiences and attracts new audiences.

  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key influencers who embody our brand values, connect with our target audiences, and lead the development of impactful influencer marketing campaigns.

  • Collaborate with the public relations and paid media teams to produce authentic and engaging videos and content that highlights the Princess brand differentiators.

  • Ensure that all initiatives and actions adhere to the company's business and compliance policies.

  • Lead a team of content creators (contractors).

  • Manage social media and influencer campaign budgets.

  • Manage social media presence in social platforms.

  • Ensure brand consistency in marketing and social media messages by working with various teammates, including advertising, PR, product development, and brand management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or public relations or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years’ experience in social media management and content development. Experience in the cruise or travel industry preferred.

  • 1+ years’ experience in leading others

  • Experience working in key social platforms and managing presence.

  • Passion for social media and its power to create brand crave.

  • A track record of creating content that generates buzz and displays innovative ideas.

  • Ability to implement social strategies that attract new audiences.

  • Proficiency with social media management tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Sprinklr, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Buffer, Google Analytics, platform-specific analytics tools.

  • Experience using video editing software, preferred, but not required.

  • Ability to coach, develop and inspire direct reports.

  • Proven ability to provide clear feedback and influence others.

  • Strong storytelling, writing and editing skills.

  • Experience in creating and delivering clear and compelling presentations to key stakeholders, including senior executive leaders.

  • Known to thrive in a collaborative environment and drive results through strong, sustainable relationships.

  • Creative thinking and a keen eye for design.

  • Experience in managing relationships with outside agencies,

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Holland America is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-1B status).

This is a hybrid role, based in our Fort Lauderdale, FL office. Candidates must be driving distance and comfortable going into the office 3 days per week.

  • Base Salary Range: $83,200-$112,300. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base pay is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
