Doubletree by Hilton Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale is looking to welcome a Cashier/Barista to join the team! This is a dual role in two of our outlets.

Our hotel, which has 296 guest rooms, is located next to the Fort Lauderdale beach, half a mile south of East Las Olas Boulevard. Our Market Deli & Liquor is a grab and go and is open from 7AM-8PM, Sunday-Thursday and 7AM-9PM, Friday-Saturday. We also have our 801 Blend & Brew, which is open daily from 7AM-2PM.

The ideal candidate will have 1 years' experience as a Cashier. Experience as a Barista is a plus. The ability to work the required shifts.

Shift Pattern: Monday-Tuesday 6AM-12:30PM (801 Blend & Brew) Three other shifts will be 6:30AM-2:30PM in the Market Deli & Liquor. Weekdays, weekends, holidays as needed.

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

What will I be doing?

As a Cashier/Barista, you would be responsible for totaling and processing guest food and beverage purchases in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Greet and acknowledge guests upon check-out from dining outlet and take guests' orders for beverages and/or food
• Accurately total, process and collect payments from guests to include, but not limited to, using the point-of-sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, making change and processing gift certificates and cards
• Ascertain guest satisfaction and work to resolve any guest issues or concerns, enlisting the assistance of a supervisor, if necessary
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
• Enters orders into a computerized system and settles check(s) upon completion of order.
• Performs general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards.
