BRANY is also a premier resource for research support services for hospitals, academic medical centers, and investigators, among its other ventures.General Summary/Objective:Supervise and oversee the development of new CITI Program content from the Research Foundations solution, specifically Human Subjects Research, Conflicts of Interest, and Information Privacy and Security. Supervise and oversee the development of appropriate add-on courses, including those related to privacy and research operations, and the transition of existing CITI Program content into other media, including audio-visual and micro-learning, to maintain CITI Program’s preeminence in the areas of research compliance training. Work with the CITI Program administration, advisory committees, and other members of the CITI Program departments in developing curricular offerings and expanding the CITI Program. Supervise and direct the day-to-day administration and operations of the research and privacy content areas, the course leaders, consultants, and authors, as well as the development of communication materials associated with the CITI Program and these areas. Drive and oversee the effective and efficient implementation and tracking of course content upgrades, edits, and archiving. Maintain course content integrity on an ongoing basis, including the incorporation of applicable regulatory guidance as they become available. Facilitate the development of new CITI Program clients. Assist with maintaining CITI Program’s relationships with existing clients by providing support in the areas of new content incorporation, assessment of existing curricular offerings, and the development of institution-specific content linked to existing CITI Program content. Represent the CITI Program at professional and scholarly meetings. The position will report to the Director, Content and Education.Duties/Responsibilities: •Work with the CITI Program leadership in the ongoing development of the CITI Program’s strategic planning and potential areas of program expansion. •Lead the development of new content initiatives, including exploratory content and licensing relationships with external organizations. Identify potential new licensed products and serve as primary contact for these external relationships in the overseen content areas. •Represent content areas on the Program Advisory Committee (PAC) and provide ongoing updates to the committee and at other CITI Program events.•Assist with annual budget creation and management.•Lead the ongoing development (including different modalities such as short courses or micro-learning) and maintenance of existing and new content areas that align with other course responsibilities. •Lead/oversee content proposal development as appropriate for new content topics.•Lead the development of webinars and other training modalities in the content area responsibilities as well as provide overall support to CITI Program Content leadership in the implementation of these training options.•Provide effective and timely support in the development of cross-content materials to continue the CITI Program’s harmonization of its delivered content.•Identify and supervise external consultants who might support existing and new content areas as necessary. •Oversee the activities of Working Groups as well as continue the development of existing and new working groups as necessary.•Assist supervisor with CE-related reporting and management activities required to support the Director of Continuing Education.•Facilitate Sales and Marketing interactions, including contributing to blogs, posts, podcasts, and other web content. Identify areas to market, including digital as well as in person conferences/events. Provide direct feedback to Sales and Marketing on creation of all materials for the team’s areas of responsibility and serve to provide final approval. Manage activities related to conferences to support Sales and Marketing. Provide consultation, as necessary, to prospective and existing clients seeking to add content or revise curricular options to their institutions.•Serve as primary contact to provide content support for Support, Customer Success, and other staff on the respective content areas. Oversee any activities associated with the retirement or replacement of content.•Serve as primary contact to provide content support for Production Team (including external consultants) on content areas, in particular when Production is addressing library or other functional delivery areas.•Direct the development and management of Audio-Visual courses for the respective content areas.•Oversee and manage the ongoing assessment of existing content, including planning of internal reviews, external reviews, contracts for editing, and review of learner feedback at the module and course experience levels. Track this work as appropriate in CITI Program’s established tracking systems.•Oversee tracking of content, including reporting as necessary and reviewing reports that will be submitted to committees and/or BRANY management and Board of Directors. Create reports as necessary.•Oversee the peer review process for respect content areas, including identification, request for peer review, dissemination of content, and collection of peer review information (including collating peer review responses and negotiating the dialogue between peer reviewers and authors).•Manage professional travel and other continuing education activities for Director and any supervisees. •Assist supervisor with management of all training videos and other training materials for CITI Program staff.•Monitor content use including independent learner and organizational subscriptions. Provide reports as necessary on usage and maintain oversight throughout the year.•Assist supervisor with oversight of significant content management areas such as future instructional designer(s) and external consultants who provide design and audio/visual elements.•Respond to requests for additional information or assistance from learners associated with CITI Program, with particular emphasis on Research Foundations related issues.•Work collaboratively with content area specialists across the CITI Program.•Evaluate areas of improvement that can streamline content to make training more effective, including the regular review of course content questions to ensure consistency with content module information presented and existing regulatory guidance and accepted best practices.•Provide effective and timely oral and written communications to existing clients. Refer incoming questions to course leaders, as appropriate and help coordinate responses.•Assess training needs of CITI Program clients and institutional training coordinators seeking advice and recommendations about curricula.•Maintain or assist in the maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (including document control) related to the CITI Program content.•Oversee the development and/or updating of basic and/or refresher course modules. •Facilitate the review of new content proposed for content areas, including the provision of editorial review at all stages.•Maintain comprehensive understanding of critical issues related to content areas managed.•Maintain effective relationships with key leadership.•Assist in the planning of CITI Program meetings, as necessary. ()•Plan and coordinate regional meetings of working groups and authors to review new content or revise and enhance existing CITI Program content.•Participate as a team member within the CITI Administrative Office, including participation in staff and strategic planning meetings.•Attend national training conferences per year as an attendee, as agreed upon with supervisor.•Represent CITI Program with the Sales and Marketing team.The above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this classification. Masters or Earned Doctorate (e.g., PhD, EdD, or SciD) level degree preferred. Or 10 years of applicable experience in human subject research protections, training, and education in lieu of advanced degree will be considered. Experience Required: •Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and content authoring and production tools, such as Articulate 360, Articulate Rise, Camtasia, Descript, and others, is preferred.•Prior presentation or publication experience at human subjects or clinical research protections or other research ethics conferences or seminars preferred.•Prior experience serving on or with an IRB preferred.Qualifications:•Certified IRB Professional (CIP highly preferred) SPONSORSHIP IS NOT AVAILABLELocation: Ft.
