Ciena Healthcare Business Office Manager (BOM) (A/R) Coordinator Assistant Part-Time in Fort Gratiot Township, Michigan

Are you an Business Office Manager (BOM) (A/R) Coordinator Assistant (part-time) with experience in skilled nursing accounts receivable? The Business Office Manager (BOM) Assistant will assist the Business Office Manager (BOM) in managing the facility's accounts receivable system.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare daily bank deposit for the General Account, and provide to Business Office Manager (BOM) for posting.

  • Prepare daily deposit for the Resident Trust Account.

  • Distribute Petty Cash from Trust Account to Residents.

  • Be prepared for State Survey regarding the trust Account.

  • Maintain Resident Trust Authorizations. • Assist with Medicaid applications.

  • Obtain signatures on the Freedom of Choice once MDS Coordinator inputs the LOCD into the State System.

  • Mailing private statements after Business Office Manager (BOM) reviews.

  • Making private collection calls on outstanding payments.

  • Checking Consolidated Billing Invoices.

  • Mailing notices of Medicare Non Coverage once reviewed by Business Office Manager (BOM).

Education and/or Experience:

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; some college or technical training preferred.
