Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a secret cleared Field Service Engineer who is willing to travel CONUS and OCONUS up to 90% of the time. The FSE will provide technical support for the development, test, deployment, and sustainment of a complex telecommunication system. As a FSE on the program, you will be a member of a team that interacts with technical and non-technical teammates, including customers and vendors. In this role, you will be required conduct surveys, assist with the designing of installation packages, conducting equipment and cable installations, administer configurations, providing technical assistance, supporting commissioning testing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues associated with the various network elements.

Compensation: $38-50/HR

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Skills and Requirements

Secret Clearance

 Willingness to travel OCONUS 80-90% of the years, up to 7-8 weeks at a time

 Experience with surveys, installations, pulling and terminating cable, determining, and implementing required pin outs, installing, and configuring Ciena equipment, cards power supplies, racks, patch panels, etc., testing, and documenting installations, dressing, and labeling cables, racks, patch panels, etc.

 Working knowledge of Ciena 6500, Ciena 5160, Ciena 5171, and other ancillary equipment.

 Experience with DC power systems. null
