Americas Home Place - Residential Construction Estimator

Americas Home Place is a home construction company that has been in business for 53 years with its Corporate Headquarters located in Gainesville, GA. We also have a satellite office located in Fort Fairfield, ME that has been open for 9 years providing estimating support as part of the corporate team. We are looking for individuals with residential construction experience to join the Estimating Team in Fort Fairfield. There is potential for relocation assistance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate detailed estimates for all projects by utilizing Quick Measure, Sage Estimating and Homefront software.
• Approve subcontractor and material invoicing.
• Work directly with individuals in the field offices as well as the other departments of the Corporate office to provide support.
• Monitor and report on construction variances and job margin reporting.

Job Qualifications:

• 3+ years residential construction estimating or project management experience.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to read and understand residential blueprints.
• Self starter with the ability to multitask.
• Strong communication skills.
• Sage Estimating/Homefront estimating experience is a plus.
• A construction or business oriented degree is preferred.
• Strong work ethic, detail oriented and energetic.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Servanthood attitude.
