Summary About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the USA Intelligence & Security Command HQ, 513th Military Intelligence BDE, Sustainment - SF located in Fort Eisenhower, GA. Responsibilities Responsible for the development and implementation of logistics concepts, doctrine, plans, and policies in support of the 513th Military Intelligence Brigade (T) and its continually evolving worldwide mission. Directs the planning, coordination, and implementation of a wide variety of logistics, engineering, and sustainment actions. Responsible for management and execution of all daily section operations, which includes workflow and project assignment. Serves as the Brigade Facility Management Officer, planner, and senior advisor to the Brigade Commander on all aspects of operational facilities management. Evaluate, adapt, or modify procedures and practices concerning property, facilities, equipment, and grounds. In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as experience in real property management and human capital management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG/GS-12). Education Additional Information This is an emergency essential position that ensures the success of combat operations or supports essential combat systems after a mobilization, evacuation order, or other military crisis. May be required to deploy, on very short notice, to potentially high-threat, hostile OCONUS environments and to undergo specific training and immunization requirements as appropriate for OCONUS deployments. Direct Deposit of Pay is required. All INSCOM employees may be subject to extended TDY or worldwide deployments during crisis situations to perform mission essential functions as determined by management.
