Army Installation Management Command Laborer NA-03 in Fort Cavazos, Texas

Responsibilities Perform heavy physical labor requiring the frequent lifting and carrying of items and furniture weighing 80 to 100 pounds or more. Operate heavy powered equipment performing tasks that require prior work experience and training. Such tasks include ground maintenance on grades and slopes, digging ditches and trenches, washing buildings using high pressure sprayers, operating tillers to prepare lawns for sod and bedding plants, and cutting trees using axes or chain saws. Performs general maintenance of NAF facilities requiring use of heavy powered equipment and heavy tools. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Six (6) month of laboring experience required. Must be able to work under general supervision, responding to initial oral or written instructions and completing assigned tasks. Highly Preferred Criteria Must have one year working at a golf course. FWS Allowances and Differentials This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position. All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee.
