About the Position: This position is only open to current employees of the 407TH Army Field Support Brigade Logistics Readiness Center in Fort Cavazos. Responsibilities Conduct quality assurance inspections to ensure food program compliance. Audits, inspects, and documents noncompliance, submitting required reports to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR). Uses Automated Food Management Information System (AFMIS), as a database for program review and serves as on-site system administrator. Review facility operations to ensure service and quality are maintained. Develop surveillance techniques to inspect food service facilities and food service equipment. Monitors and advises food service matters including but not limited too account status’, food cost evaluations, and inspections. Attends food service briefings, seminars, workshops, and conferences concerning food service support. Coordinates with the Preventive Medicine Office on sanitation standards and trainings. Maintains records on all food service equipment for replacement. Specialized Experience: Your resume must reflect one year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Using databases to record, review and/or report on service programs; 2) Reviewing reports pertaining to food service operations; and 3) Coordinating with supervisors on work assignments to improve working methods. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). -OR- Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Food Service Management or another related field. -OR- Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
