Raytheon is seeking successful candidate to perform any combination of the following tasks in support of the electrical test evaluation/test and repair of various product lines including (but not limited to) electronics box assemblies, RF electronics, high-power distribution assemblies, electro-mechanical assemblies, electronics rack-mount systems/chassis, circuit card assemblies, and other similar-complexity assemblies.

What You Will Do

  • Evaluates Assembly Test Requirements and is the main driver towards setting up test processes, equipment, and procedures towards establishing the assembly test capability at the El Paso/Ft. Bliss site.

  • Evaluates failed electrical assemblies, products, components, and software through the use of test and measurement equipment towards successful troubleshooting to determine the root cause of failure down to the component level with strong emphasis on RF test and evaluation hands-on experience.

  • Works in conjunction with Test Technicians, Program Office Engineering, and product Quality Assurance towards evaluating, repairing, and moving failed assemblies through established Repair & Return processes.

  • Key Driver to ensure the optimization of site Test and Quality Processes through the labs, including through the use of process performance metrics and support of internal and external process audits.

  • Maintains control of all Electro-static Sensitive Device (ESD) precautions and processes - works with various groups towards ensuring full compliance.

  • Strong Work Ethic, self-motivation, and accountability - with emphasis on meeting deliverable schedules

  • This will be an onsite role.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires bachelors degree and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and 3 years of relevant experience.

  • 5 years applicable experience in an Electrical Engineering field

  • Electrical Engineering Degree

  • Experience with electrical evaluation/trouble-shooting skills, with emphasis on RF troubleshooting.

  • Experience with test and evaluation measurement equipment, including (but not limited to): DMMs, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, RF equipment, etc.

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Defense Contractor Experience

  • Experience with MS Office Suite applications – MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
